About Me

Frank Faranda trained for the work of psychotherapy through a Masters degree at Columbia University and a Doctorate from the Derner Institute of Adelphi University. He also has post-doctoral training at New York University's Program for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.
​
His influences include attachment theory, Jungian Analysis, psychoanalysis and Parts Work. In recent years Frank has broadened his work with understandings from neuroscience and neurobiology. He is currently writing about the ways in which fear and imagination play out in our lives, our relationships and in our culture.
